About The Mixing Bowl NH
The Mixing Bowl NH is a home bakery in Manchester, New Hampshire, operating under New Hampshire's cottage food laws. Our kitchen is not a licensed or state-inspected commercial facility.
Placing an Order
The custom order form is strictly for food orders; for anything else, please use our general contact form instead, and all fields on the custom order form are required so we have what we need to respond.
Submitting the custom order form is a request, not a confirmed order. We check our calendar for availability based on your pickup date and the scope of your order, then reply directly by text or email to confirm availability and pricing. Your order is only confirmed once we've sent that reply.
Prices and Payment
Prices are quoted per order based on what you're asking for. We don't collect any payment details on this website — there is no checkout here. Once we've agreed on pricing, payment is arranged directly between you and us, off the site.
Pickup
Pickups happen at our home in Manchester, New Hampshire. We'll reach out the day before your pickup to confirm everything and share the address, and pickups are available between 2–4pm on your scheduled date.
Changes, Cancellations, and Rush Requests
If you provide two weeks' notice or less, we would still love to help — a rush fee may apply, starting at $20 and increasing depending on the size of your order, how much notice we're given, and whether supplies need to be rush-ordered.
If you need to cancel, how much we can refund depends on timing, since production and shopping often begin well before pickup day. A cancellation within two weeks of your pickup date is refunded at no more than 50%, because we may have already started production or purchased what your order needs. A cancellation within one week of pickup is non-refundable.
For any changes, please reach out as soon as you can and we'll do our best to accommodate you. Changes aren't possible within one week of pickup.
Food Safety and Allergens
Everything we bake comes out of our home kitchen, which also handles common allergens like gluten and peanuts, so we can't guarantee any item is free of cross-contamination.
Periodically we may offer gluten-friendly options, but without the kitchen needed for exclusive allergen-free baking, we cannot guarantee that cross-contamination will not occur. Please use caution when ordering if you have a food allergy.
Photos and Social Media
We love sharing the treats we make, and photos of your finished order may end up on our social media.
You must contact us if you do not want photos of your order used on our social media pages.
We never post before your event — anything we share goes up only after your event date has passed.
Your Privacy
